A dual Chilean Australian national. Phil has been involved in ICT and participated in the evolution of mobile telephony and broadband since the deregulation of the Australian market in the late 1980s. He has gained much of his experience in management positions with Telstra, Optus, Transact, Denver based Teletech Holdings and several international Telecom carrier service launches in Bangladesh, PNG, Malaysia, Democratic Republic Congo and Mexico. He undertakes his commercial challenges with an entrepreneurial approach and has served as a Director and Non-Executive Director for a number of private and ASX listed companies including Skyland Petroleum Limited and Synergy Plus Limited.

Mark de Kock has over 25 years experience in driving superior commercial outcomes through strategy and technology in companies such as Vocus Communications, Optus, Vodafone, Trident Subsea Cable and HP (Tandem/Compaq). Mark started his career designing and developing money market and stock exchange trading systems such as the Helsinki Money Market System, full automation of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, and the design of the 3rd generation of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. After several subsequent roles in IT with BT Financial group, Optus and Vodafone, Mark joined Vocus Communications in his childhood as Head of Strategy. During Mark’s tenure on the Board of Vocus Communications, the company grew from a $25m market capitalization company to an ASX500 company. 10 years since listing, Vocus is now a $2B company.

More recently, Mark was a corporate advisor to the Uniti Group (Uniti Wireless at the time), financing and rolling out a fixed wireless broadband network in Australia in the early stages.

Uniti is now a $940m company. He is also the ex-CEO of Trident Subsea Cable, a company that was to construct a submarine cable between Perth, Australia and Singapore and the Executive Chairman of Frontier DC, an edge Data Center company. Mark holds a B.Sc. (First class honors) in Electronic Engineering from University College London and an execMBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and is a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. Mark spent one year at the Beijing University of Telecommunications in 1989/90 as a Graduate researching digital adaptive filters.

Over the last 12 years in the IT industry Ian has founded a number of companies and helped thousands of businesses start and grow their own. He is the Co Founder and Managing Director of Magicdust, a digital agency that has produced over 10,000 websites since 2006 and was ranked, by the Australian Business Review Weekly, as one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in Australia. His entrepreneurial strengths are in brand positioning, marketing and business strategy and he has contributed to industry and business publications including CIO, Huffington Post and the Australian Financial Review.
